Getting Connected

Do you need to set up a shared Internet connection for your entire office? DataCorp can recommend the best type of service for your needs. We can also help you determine what options are available at your location.

  • Help you find out what connection options are available in your geographical location, such as DSL, ISDN, and T1.
  • We will coordinate with communications vendors such as your local phone company to get your office connected
  • Router installation and configuration Working Away from the Office
  • Virtual Private Networks for remote employees. Using a VPN closes many of the security holes that exist in other Internet services, such as email.
  • Citrix and Windows Terminal Services installation

Existing Installations

If you already have a functional network, DataCorp can provide other services for your company:

  • Upgrade your network speed from 10 megabit/second to 100 megabit /second speed or higher
  • Add new PC workstations to your network (including the purchasing of additional workstation licenses)
  • Add hubs or switches as needed when adding new PC workstations

  • Troubleshoot network problems or speed problems

Pricing Information

We generally do network installations by giving you an estimate or "bid" for the work. The estimate includes the cost of all hardware needed. To help us estimate, we generally ask the following types of questions:

  • How many servers will be installed?
  • How many workstations will be needed?
  • Is your office already wired with CAT-5 cabling for a network?
  • Do you have "dropped" ceilings, also known as false ceilings?
  • Do you have RJ-45 wall jacks in place already?
